This is the two step part
For all of my closest friends
This is the two step part
Let me see what you've got
So let's open up the pit
And tear this place to the ground

I've got this feeling I can't shake
It says we're going crazy
We don't see anyone but ourselves
We fly like moths to car wrecks
There are people starving in the streets
There are children hiding under sheets
We ought to be scared too
We ought to shake in our boots
We are proud but for what reason?
We are proud of this treason

Safety In Numbers

I will try to not deter you from the path
But sometimes I just get my sights set on other things
Honestly I'd say I am scared
Of what life will bring
But we are doing just fine
You are there to make me safe; to see me through

Sitting at my computer endlessly
Waiting for it to tell me what to do
It's much like a coma to be this damn lazy
But I'll roll over and blow this off too once more
And honestly if this is not what computers are for
I don't understand why we are using them anymore
Because we were alive once and things seemed to make sense
But we're all caught up with the costs of our vices and our rents
Remember when good times did not cost us money
It's kind of funny how quickly those times flied
We could sit around and just be happy
With good company and a laugh
And honestly I'd trade all the cigarettes in the world
For another day like that
